Amazon has discounted Samsung’s top smartphone of 2017, the Galaxy S8 Plus. This unlocked smartphone is currently priced at $589, which is now the lowest it has ever been priced, for a new version. This is still a great smartphone to pick up, even if it is last year’s flagship smartphone from Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is a great device from Samsung, featuring a 6.3-inch Infinity Display that is also curved. This means almost no bezels on the sides and very small top and bottom bezels as well. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Samsung has also included a micro SD card slot for expanding storage here, should you need some more space. There’s a 3500mAh capacity battery inside that should keep it going all day long. Samsung also has Adaptive Fast Charging included, which is fast enough to work with Quick Charge 2.0 chargers, but not Quick Charge 3.0. So it’s not the fastest, but it’s pretty fast still. This is a great smartphone from Samsung, that is also still getting updates, in fact it has Android Oreo right now and it will be getting Android P soon. The unlocked Galaxy S8 Plus does work on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon networks, as expected.
This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime’s free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You’ll get 30 days free (if you’re a student, you get 6 months), and then it’s $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.Buy the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus
