Pimax Crystal Light software – Virtual Reality (VR) for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I read that besides Pimax Play, is necesary to download also Steam VR or instead Pimax XR Runtime and Open XR Toolkit, are they really necesary ?
